The Beginning Farmer Center created the AgLink platform to facilitate the transition of farming operations from established farmers to beginning farmers. AgLink provides new farmers a chance to connect with transitioning farmers and farmland owners, start conversations, and locate farming opportunities. In addition to managing AgLink, the Beginning Farmer Center develops educational programming and resources on farm transition and succession planning.
For many new and beginning farmers, access to farmland, equipment, and other infrastructure can be a barrier to entry. Browse AgLink to search for available farmland, employment opportunities, equipment leases, and more.
Finding a successor is a vital part of any farm transition plan. By connecting to a beginning farmer, you can leave an impactful legacy and help bring new energy to your community. Farmland owners can use AgLink to share farm opportunities involving real property, machinery, and employment.
After you complete the application, a staff member will review your submission and may ask for additional information. Please note that access to AgLink is not available until your application is approved. After approval, you will be able search for potential matches and start a conversation.
