AgLink Terms and Conditions of Use

Creating an AgLink account includes acknowledgement of and agreement to the following terms and conditions:

• AgLink Experience.
  • AgLink is a user-led experience. As such, the Beginning Farmer Center does not assist in making introductions or matches between beginning farmers and listed farm opportunities. The Beginning Farmer Center is not responsible for any unsuccessful, terminated, or failed arrangements or agreements.
• AgLink Purpose
  • AgLink is designed to facilitate the connection of beginning farmers with farm opportunities; it is not set up to serve as a real estate listing service. Thus, real estate agents and land brokers may not use AgLink to advertise their listings.
• AgLink Applications
  • AgLink will not accept incomplete applications.
• AgLink Postings
  • The Beginning Farmer Center does not make representations or warranties about any farm opportunities or beginning farmer profiles listed on the AgLink website, including the suitability of any property for intended agricultural uses or other business activities.
  • The Beginning Farmer Center does not screen applicants or otherwise verify the information or claims made on any profile or opportunity on AgLink. The Beginning Farmer Center does not perform background or reference checks on AgLink users.
• AgLink Privacy
  • The Beginning Farmer Center is not responsible for the nature of the communications among parties, and does not monitor or have access to user communications through the AgLink messaging feature.
  • Other AgLink applicants will not have your name or contact information; they are only able to contact you through the AgLink database system. It is up to you to determine if/when you are comfortable sharing your personal contact information to continue the conversation outside AgLink.
• AgLink Use
  • AgLink users must annually confirm their intent to continue using AgLink. Failure to do so will result in termination of the user account and profile.
  • The Beginning Farmer Center reserves the right to discontinue its work with anyone, at any time, for any reason, without explanation. This includes termination of an AgLink account.
  • Staff at the Beginning Farmer Center make every effort to respond to all inquiries as quickly as possible. However, responses may be delayed during times of high demand.
